Easy Listening Music on Radio 99.3 FM
During March 2025!
Are you counting down the days until Spring? That is what I think of this time of the year.
Right now, on our station we can all enjoy 5 one-hour
programs hosted by Don Ferguson. You will recall that
Rockford’s Don Ferguson presents one-hour summaries of the best music from a musical or by a special artist and tells the story of the musical or radio show. Currently playing in rotation on our station are these five selections by Don: “The Story of Muzak;” “Doris Day Radio Show;” “Rosemary Clooney Radio Show;” “Eartha Kitt Radio Show;” and a one-hour program that Don calls, “Songs That Tell A Story Part 6.”
You can hear Don Ferguson with “Music from Broadway and Hollywood” Sunday and Wednesday at 4 PM, and Monday and Friday at 10 AM. You might also recognize Don as one of our station’s Radio team that hosts the broadcasts of the Sunday worship service of Third Presbyterian Church.
Another listening suggestion for Wednesday and Sunday at noon is Day 1. For many years this program was known as the “Best of Protestant Preaching.” It is a 25-minute program and as you would guess, it features protestant pastors from around the country from a variety of denominations, including Presbyterians!
Wishing you good listening, all year around, day and night, on 99.3 FM and online at wtpblp.com
“Thanks, for Listening!”
